in the summer, this is also a great place to stop in and get some ice cream on the go.

Nice. The wait for our food was a bit long. Very good pancakes. "Baked beans" are canned beans. Good coffee. Seating was quick. And the waitress was quick to take our order.

Their burgers are still good, as is their breakfast.

Fantastic experience! Stopped in on our way through town and we were thoroughly impressed. The service, food, and ice cream, were all fantastic. We only wish we were local so we could come back again!

Mickey's has a surprisingly wide variety of food options for a small-town "road side cafe."

The food was incredibly cheap, especially given the generous portions. On Sun-Tues there is a 3 course for $14, so we had seafood chowder (+$1) which was packed full of actual seafood. For the main you get to pair any 2 sides with the entree (of which there is a long list) so you can choose between healthy or full blown carbs. The scallops came with 10 medium which was far more than I'd expected, and the veggie lasagne was thoroughly covered in cheese and came with garlic bread (in addition to the sides). For desert the peanut butter pie was an indulgent delight and the apple pie was what you'd hope for from an American diner. The only bad thing in the evening was the corn cobb was served stone cold, which was probably because the main took a while to arrive. Otherwise a lovely meal at a fantastic price!

Review from 2014:

It's not a gourmet restaurant, but the things they do, they do well. I'm a fan of their oven roasted scrod (or baked halibut, which is pretty similar), the buffalo chicken salad, lazy man's lobster dinner, and whatever dessert pie options they have when I go. Their thin crust pizza is also pretty good, though I'm not a huge fan of the regular crust pizza. It's also fun to just sit around the bar and chat with other locals.

Unfortunately, the quality of the good has gone steadily down hill. Salads have gotten smaller, chicken came out dry and chewy, and the fish just isn't the same - I don't order it anymore.

Review from 2017:

There food is always good, but our last visit we ordered take out, they said 25-30 minutes.. we even took 35 to get there and they had not even started making the food and it took another 30 minutes to make it.. very frustrating.. food is always good, no problem there
